Christmas Vacation

Well i gotta say that one of the best things about having vacation is that you can stay up until whatever hour you like and get lost in drawing. Sometimes it is really hard to remember to listen to yourself. This evening I got to practice this. After being down and feeling drained and just sad. I went on to relax with some music, draw whatever I felt like and be in my own head and the energy slowly came back.

Oh art <3 the biggest love of my life. You can be incredibly amazing sometimes.

Christmas Preparations

So for once I am quite early with my christmas preparations. I've bought almost all my gifts and wrapped them. Also the christmas cards is in the making. This year I have no theme whatsoever. Most of them are even in different styles. All due to the mood I'm in when making them.

This is not because I don't do anything else, even if it seems that way. But actually for the first time in my life, my daily schedule is to go to work and that means that on the weekends and after work I'm totally free. No school assignments and not as much panic over work I should do, which is an amazing feeling.

Also I catched the cold since friday and been staying at home monday -  wednesday. Going back to work tomorrow and couldn't be more eager to do so. It's been too boring staying at home and even though I've been spending a few days spoiling the guinea pigs, feeling the christmas spirit and watching A LOT of tv I'm very much done with feeling like a total lazyass.

This year I made the Inktober challenge and managed to get 22 days done out of 30? Or whatever many days October includes. The deal is to make a traditional ink drawing every day of october, getting a routine for drawing and having to follow a theme. I was a bit disappointed with myself when I didn't follow it the whole way through but on the other hand, when I saw all the images in the end of the month, I decided to be happy that I've done more on inktober than ever before.
